Description

Part Time Primary Care Paramedic or Advanced Care Paramedic
The City of Cornwall is a progressive community of 47,000 situated on the banks of the St. Lawrence River in Eastern Ontario.

Reporting to Commanders, Paramedics carry out a range of duties in keeping with performance-based system design principles, safely meeting or exceeding response time standards, assessing, treating and transporting patients as per standards under the Ambulance Act; preparing and submitting reports; safely operating EMS vehicles and ensuring the stocking and safeguarding of vehicles, equipment, supplies and medications; and perform other related duties or tasks as assigned.

Provide all required documentation as set out in the
Pre-Employment Documentation Package;
Possess excellent interpersonal; communication and organizational skills;
Possess computer skills;
Be able to perform and adapt well under stressful situations.

The City of Cornwall offers a competitive salary starting at $37.26 per hour for Primary Care Paramedics and $39.87 per hour for Advanced Care Paramedics.
