Our Client is seeking up to three (3) Intermediate Application Developers to assist in the planning, design, development, and testing of the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) phases for data warehousing activities.

Additionally, the roles are expected to help make sense of the large amount of legacy data through analysis and insight to ensure new data model correctly reflects business requirements.

Resource(s) will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings in Edmonton, Alberta when required.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills

Experience delivering Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) in data warehousing projects. (3+ years)
Experience with SQL programming, stored procedures, views, and user defined functions (SSMS, TFS). (3+ years)
Experience building data warehousing solutions in a collaborative, agile development environment (2+ years)
Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation. (3+ years)
Must have the last 3 years continuous residency in either Canada or United States as minimum.

Nice To Have Skills

Experience with the Agile and scrum development methodology (2+ years)
Experience with User Acceptance Testing processes on large, complex, multistakeholder environment. (2+ years)
Experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions. (2+ years)
Demonstrated experience communicating and interacting with all levels in an organization, from front line staff to highlevel executives, to facilitate change and foster successful delivery of project objectives. (2+ years)
Experience doing SQL Server development including adhoc queries, procedures, views, user defined functions. (2+ years)
Experience with unit testing, mock testing frameworks, integration testing, and release management (2+ years)
