Description
The Firm is seeking an intelligent and very personable individual to assume the responsibility of
Bookkeeper/ Receptionist.

Position**:

  • Permanent/Full-Time**
    Bookkeeping
  • Check and verify source documents such as invoices and receipts to generate monthly progress reports
  • Allocate and post financial transaction details to accounting software
  • Transfer financial data to QuickBooks
  • Maintain internal coding system for tracking incoming financial documents
  • Manage accounts receivable
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues
  • Prepare financial reports as requested by clients and partners
  • Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by accountants or partners
  • Assist with audits
  • Prepare bills and invoices
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients

Receptionist

  • Greet and welcome visitors
  • Answer all incoming calls, redirect them or keep messages
  • Manage Boardrooms
  • Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
  • Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
  • Perform clerical/administrative functions

Qualifications and Experience:


  • 5 years' experience working in A/P, A/R and general ledger
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, QuickBooks, BQE Software (CORE)
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Customer Service orientation
  • Bookkeeping certification or diploma

Desired Skills

  • A

  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong proficiency in
    Microsoft Office:
  • Proficiency with accounting system, preferably
    Quickbooks and
    BQE Software (CORE):
  • Strong
