About this opportunity
This position will be located in Vaughan, bordering Peel and Etobicoke ON.
Reporting to the Post Press Coordinator, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for

What you will do

Work as a member of the Material Handling Team at the Vaughan Ontario printing plant.
Operate all fork trucks, clamp trucks and associated equipment.
Load and unload trucks as required.
Schedule, process, track and store all incoming materials into the plant.
Optimize the operation of material handling equipment and systems.
Perform both production and minor maintenance duties as required.
Actively work to ensure that productivity, waste and quality standards are met.
Participate in the 5S process
Ability to work within a team environment and interact with all areas of production

What we are looking for

Ability to operate any or all of the following: Fork Trucks, Clamp Trucks and other lifting devices
Work with computer programs including Word, Excel. Globetek, Production Matrix
Ability to deal with drivers, trucking companies and others in a positive way
Positive references
Demonstrated leadership, problemsolving skills and technical knowledge.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
High initiative and ability to work with low supervision

Working Condition, Compensation and Benefits:

Work schedule is 42 hours per week
Ability to work 12hour shifts.
