Specific Responsibilities include:

Identifying and resolving all nonroutine and timesensitive issues that occur during weekend hours.
Prioritizing each situation (emergency, nonroutine, routine) and respond accordingly. The response may require immediate action and involvement of other parties. Thorough follow up including actions to avoid repeat occurrences as required.
Delegating tasks and issues to other members of your team.

This will include but is not limited to:

Adequate resources on a consistent basis to improve efficiency while maintaining strong customer service.
Resolving and/or escalating any temperature related issues (Reefer and Heater).
Resolving and/or escalating any Expedited issues.
Ensuring day to day management of the Customer Service, Dispatch and Planning business processes and improvement programs are being followed.
Ensuring team members are handling calls, messages and chats in a timely and effective manner.
Handling calls, messages and chats as the situation requires.
Monitoring and affecting tractor utilization.
Ensuring yard checks are completed, audited, and scanned into the system.
Monitoring the LRW communication tab
The WS will be responsible for the overall Operations performance over the weekend including projects to improve the weekend performance for our drivers, customers, and office staff.
23 years of leadership experience required.
Transportation and logistics experience are considered to be an asset.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Excellent leadership skills and conflict resolution skills.
Business minded, solution and service focused.
Demonstrated attention to detail, problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to manage in a multitask environment and thrive in a fastpaced business.
Able to quickly adapt to changes, shift focus, meet deadlines, and complete timesensitive tasks.
Knowledge of the geography of North America.
Knowledge of the Trucking Rules and Regulations, Service Capabilities and Standards, Freight Lanes and Rates.

Shift available: 4x10 hour shifts, Friday to Monday.
