Job Summary:


The Production Supervisor will ensure that the production department meets its quality assurance and scheduling goals by planning, scheduling, executing, and directing production activities.


You will be able to adapt to changes in scheduling, able to think on the fly, and able to handle high-stress decision-making scenarios.

The production coordinator has a hand in all parts of production, and must have excellent working knowledge of the organization and industry.

May also need to conduct research and complete paperwork as required by their team or supervisors.

  • Overseeing the employee workforce in the department
  • Managing scheduling for maximum workforce efficiency
  • Evaluating, adjusting and creating new policies and procedures as needed for effective operations
  • Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
  • Work closely with purchasing department and vendors to ensure materials are readily available at all times
  • Acting as a liaison between management, engineering and production staff
  • Managing risk to minimize losses and maximize profits
  • Leading and encouraging staff to operate at a high level of effectiveness

Requirements/Qualifications:


  • College Diploma/University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or combined equivalent experience and training in a manufacturing environment
  • Practical experience can include electrical, mechanical, welding, metal fabrication, etc.
  • Experience in vehicle production or custom manufacturing environment
  • A proactive selfstarter with the ability to succeed with mínimal guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
  • Fluent using MSOffice (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment and deliver on commitments internally and to customers.
  • Excellent business acumen. Previous experience with P&L or Cost Center responsibility
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with demonstrated team building and conflict resolution ability. Excellent employee and human relations skills.
  • Excellent computer skills. Ability to learn and use company specific systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with regulatory agency requirements such as NFPA, FAA, DOT, etc.

Salary:
$65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
