ROLE TITLE:

SUPERVISOR, BUILDING SERVICES**
DEPARTMENT:ENGINEERING**
REPORTS TO:SENIOER MANAGER, ENGINEERING**
HOURS:8:00 TO 16:30**Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering, you will be responsible for providing daily leadership to the Building Maintenance, Building Cleaning & Cafeteria teams.

You will coordinate with your team and contractors to ensure the facility and yard are clean, well maintained, and audit ready every day.

Through effective communication and coaching you will engage your teams to improve cleaning and maintenance programs while ensuring the safety of all staff.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to direct reports
  • Effectively delegate tasks to each team to promote growth and development of each team member
  • Ensure Bausch policies and procedures are communicated and applied in a fair and consistent manner
  • Ensure GMP requirements for the physical building and pest control program are met and monitored
  • Ensure office areas, shared spaces and washrooms are cleaned and well maintained
  • Accurately document all work on Computerize Maintenance Management System
  • Initiate and support site sustainability projects in conjunction with EH&S
  • Ensure yard and parking lot are kept clean, safe, and well maintain through all seasons
  • Ensure Bausch safety programs are followed by all team members and staff are adequately trained and knowledgeable on safety hazards
  • Manage the inventory and budget of the building services supplies and equipment
  • Plan and execute the semiannual shutdowns and preventive maintenance activities
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors and vendors for building services projects and repairs

Education and Experience:


  • High School Diploma.
  • Trades Training and Certificate an asset
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 3 years team leadership experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a building maintenance or similar environment
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Required competencies/Abilities:


  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Sense of urgency and flexibility.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
