Sales Manager. The work location for this position is

Burnaby, British Columbia, and is eligible for a

hybrid work arrangement.


The Opportunity:

The Sales Manager is responsible for contributing to the overall success of Ritchie Bros. Financial Services ("RBFS) through driving performance and development of his or her team. The Sales Manager will be accountable for volume, revenue, and conversion metrics as well as employee engagement. With direct ownership of execution within their sales teams, this role will drive not only results, but also expected behaviors and processes within their teams. With an ability to swiftly adapt to changing dynamics, the sales manager will provide direct guidance and support to his or her sales team, ensuring execution of business KPIs. With a passion for overachievement and a neversettleattitude, the Sales Manager will help RBFS respond quickly to changing customer demand and marketplace, advocating for programs, efficiencies and resources which would bolster RBFS growth.

Specific objectives of the role include:

  • Execution Results:
  • On target or above achievement of revenue target—Core, L&D, MPT and new revenue lines as introduced
On target or above achievement of quantity & quality of sales pipeline target
On target or above achievement of contact and coverage of account base
On target or above achievement of conversion metrics, such as L2B & B2A
Development of People:
  • On target or above employee engagement results
Active involvement in coaching and action planning for results and individual growth
Facilitating weekly 1on1's with team members, daily team huddles and other meeting or training initiatives as needed
Supporting Best in

Class Customer Experience:

  • Liaising with internal and external partners, customers and stakeholders to live up to our promise of speed, ease, and convenience
Effectively collaborating with lender partners and internal departments to ensure optimal deals and experiences for customers
Driving Efficiencies and Improvements Across the

Sales Organization:

  • Leveraging reporting and analytics dashboards (predominately sourced from Salesforce) to make business decisions and recommendations for improvements
Sharing and collaborating with peers to capitalize on best practices, and replicate success throughout the entire sales organization
_In this role you'll:_ Achieve sales & conversion targets direct Gross Profit, BooktoApprove, LooktoBook Lead & develop sales teams, focusing on total team effectiveness and individual growth plans Work collaboratively with peers, leaders and cross functional teams to initiate change and improvement within sales' programs, tools, and training Drive efficiencies & productivity through sharing of best practices and processes Represent RBFS Leadership in a professional capacity

4+ Years minimum of related experience

Must Have Background:

Equipment Financing, OEM or Dealership experience, and/or Inside Sales Leadership background Bachelor's Degree with reference in Marketing or Business, or equivalent industry experience
_This job will require you to:_ RBFS may require domestic or international travel to attend corporate auction sites, future work locations, and/or company events
