Maintain the overall cleanliness of the Wellings of Corunna building, amenity space, as well as individual suites for residents on an appointment basis.


MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in a caring and considerate manner.

  • Perform work duties in a polite and respectful manner to residents within the building.
  • Able to selfregulate, and perform in a team environment.
Should be able to identify areas that need attention to cleaning outside of daily duties, and act upon, or consult with management to find a solution

  • Must demonstrate the ability to support, practice and deliver to the Wellings Residents 100% of the time.
  • Must demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily cleaning duties as assigned in dining room, public washrooms, atrium common space, front entrance etc. vacuuming, mopping, spot cleaning walls, dusting, cleaning glass, empty waste receptacles.
  • Regular daily checks of elevators, hallways and stairwells throughout building and clean as necessary.


Daily maintenance of garbage rooms on all four floors - garbage and recycling to be transported to outdoor garbage corral - assist Maintenance Manager as needed weekly to roll out recycling receptacles for pick up.


  • Maintain weekly schedule of cleaning, as assigned may include elevators, rotation of floors to clean, stairwells, show suites as asked, and empty apartments as required by management
  • Meet with residents as requested to discuss and assess their cleaning requirements and frequency clearly understand their expectations, and communicate cleaning schedule and agree upon duties mutually honour all appointments on time, and act in a professional and courteous manner in their home perform all duties as agreed upon and with attention to detail.
  • May be assigned to any other job function in the Wellings Community on a relief basis.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.


OTHER JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all work assigned for the agreed‐upon wage, accepting no additional payment or nonperishable gifts from residents, vendors, Management, or others.
  • Meet the assigned work‐hour requirements of the job. Regular attendance is required.
  • Ability to keep all business and operations information confidential.
  • Desire and ability to be a team player.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Continuous combination of standing, and walking is necessary during one hundred percent (100%) of the workday.
  • Limited lifting, lowering, and/or carrying up to fifty (50) pounds for less than five (5) percent of the workday.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, and/or reaching/pulling are performed regularly for seventyfive (75) to one hundred (100) percent of the workday.
Limited kneeling, crouching/stooping, and/or climbing are performed during less than one (1%) percent of the workday.

  • Occasional hand and body movement, including knuckle‐to‐shoulder and shoulder‐and‐above movement, for twenty‐five (25) percent of the workday.
  • Frequent grasping and fine manipulation with hands, including hand/wrist flexion/extension and upper‐ body shoulder/elbow use, are performed during fifty‐one (51) to seventy
    five (75) percent of the workday.
  • Limited chemical exposure while performing duties for fifty (50) percent of the workday.
