Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

Customer Liaison: fielding calls pertaining to product quality, initiating investigations and as necessary corrective action to restore customer confidence and ensure quality product is made.
Prepare Quality System (QS9000), Advance Quality Planning, control processes and PPAP documentation.
Initiate investigations and developing responses to prevent and/or correct nonconforming product
Developing systems that identify and record any problems related to product, process and quality systems, ensuring those systems include verification of preventative/corrective actions
Supervises reporting staff and ensures all levels of staff receive sufficient communication, orientation or training in quality programs/principles;
Responsible for the control of process, delivery of nonconforming products
Undertakes continuous improvement projects: APQP, QS9000, Q1, PSO and others as required;
Ensures continuing conformance to all applicable standards and requirements.

Qualifications:

Progressively responsible management experience in manufacturing and quality programming; Knowledge of quality systems, statistical measurements and quality tools/standards: QS9000, FMEA, Process Flow Design, Control Planning and PPAP. Possession of or progress toward a professional designation e.g. Engineering or ASQC (American Society for Quality Control)
Team Leadership Abilities; Project Management Skills, organizational and communications skills.
