Purpose of Role:

_ Reporting to the Steel Processing Supervisor, the CNC Plasma Machine Operator is responsible for cuts, trims, or scarfs metal plate with plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment to dimensions, contour, or bevel specified by blueprints and/or work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Plasma Machine:

Cut and trim metal plate with plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment to dimensions, contour, or bevel, specified by blueprints and work orders.

Preventative Maintenance:
Thorough preventative maintenance of machine and ability to resolve some mechanical issues

Training:
Assist with training and mentoring

Safety First:

Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Previous Experience running a Plasma Machine
Understand settings and different features on the machine for specific tasks
Strong attention to detail
Thorough understanding and use of measuring tools
Thorough understanding of drawings and work orders
