YOUR MISSION


We are seeking a dynamic eComm Product Owner to spearhead the migration of our current merchandise e-commerce platform to a new, cutting-edge solution, as well as operationalizing the new platform and strategy once the migration project is completed.

This role is a unique blend of product ownership, business analysis,project management and operation/logistic.


Main Responsibilities:


Business Analysis

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of business requirements, identifying musthave features and potential customizations.
  • Work with financial analysts to determine costbenefit analysis and ROI for the proposed solutions (business case).
  • Understand and document underlying logistics and operations of each potential platform.
  • Work with the different stakeholders on building a reliable and profitable strategy.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements in collaboration with functional analysts to ensure they are implemented effectively.

Platform Migration

  • Lead the transition project from inception to completion, including vendor selection, platform customization, and integration with existing systems.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless data migration and mínimal disruption on ongoing operations.
  • Lead the contract negotiations with internals teams (Finance, Legal, Procurement, etc.)

Project Management

  • Develop project plans, timelines, RACI, and deliverables for the migration project and the ongoing platform evolutions.
  • Manage risks, adjust plans as necessary, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Product Ownership and Operations

  • Own the product roadmap for our ecommerce, ensuring an alignment with our business strategy and market needs.
  • Evaluate user feedback and performance data (ex: paid media campaigns)to guide future developments and constantly optimize the platform to achieve the best conversion rate possible.
  • Operate the platform content, configurations and acquisition strategy along with selected vendors and internal teams.

YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience with the main aspects of eCommerce (shipping, handling, inventory management, fulfillment, CMS, supply chain coordination, returns and exchanges, pricing, taxes compliance, revenue and cost analysis, customer support, digital marketing (SEO, PPC & social media), marketplace integration, reporting, data privacy policy, market research, business strategy, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platform/marketplace such as Amazon is a plus.
