About the Opportunity:


The Short Order Cook in Central Food Production is responsible for the ingredient control of recipes which includes the measuring and portioning of recipe ingredients and the production of food items for the patient menu.

The Short Order Cook is also responsible for following cost control procedures, food handling procedures, and providing overall customer service according to departmental standards.


Please Note:

Frequent physical demands including extensive standing and walking, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, and transferring food supplies throughout the shift.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade 1-1-year relevant experience required
  • Ability to deal with customers and patients in a courteous, helpful manner
  • Communication skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:


  • Long Assignment, Part-Time / 70% / 52.5 Hours Biweekly
  • Approximately 12 Months
  • Shiftwork / Call / Rotation / etc.

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $24.00 Hourly
