What you'll do


Acting as a key liaison with the merchandising and marketing teams, a key accountability of the role will be the execution of assortment strategies and product assortments online.

In addition, the execution of the seasonal planning calendar, including key business priorities and marketing/promotional events focused on maximizing customer engagement in-store and online.

This role will play a key part in defining and managing our homepage, e-flyer, and online events. This role reports directly to the Manager, eCommerce Merchandising.

  • Ensure website is updated daily, weekly, monthly to reflect the key products/events to maximize sales, margin and store traffic
  • Through the use of analytics understand how the customer shops and adjust the offering and customer experience
  • Maximize placement of products and digital assets to drive sales, margin and store traffic
  • Determine browse refinement options by business category
  • Understand customer search and browse behaviour and tailor experience accordingly
  • Understand top search terms and highest visited areas of the category and implement tactics to provide proper customer experience
  • Create strategy to drive traffic to lower performing areas of the website
  • Influence content strategy and requirements

What you bring

  • Postsecondary education
  • Web analytics experience (Google Analytics and Omniture)
  • 35 years of ecommerce/digital experience preferred
  • Motivated, selfstarter with the ability to function in an environment with a high level of ambiguity and change.
  • Highly organized and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem solver & decision maker
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, influence change, collaborate, and persuade crossfunctionally at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Maintaining a customerfocused attitude under multiple demands of many stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive amidst ambiguity
  • Previous eCommerce site merchandising experience
  • Previous Marketing experience
