WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute and bring tremendous value to the accomplishment of our Health and Safety Management Strategic Plan

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the strategic alignment of projects according to the OHS Strategic Development Plan and identify the main milestones to be followed for OHS management projects
  • Ensure the followup and control of the progress of the projects by keeping the schedule up to date and by carrying out the required verifications at each stage
  • To actively participate in the development of health and safety management processes, in line with the strategic plan
  • Identify the key leaders and contributors (SME) within the various teams and establish the roles and responsibilities of each for any other project related to OHS management
  • Collaborate and follow up appropriately with key leaders and contributors and other internal and external stakeholders involved in projects
  • Understand and explain delays in the progress of projects and recommend any adjustments or changes to the schedule to the OHS Steering Committee. Report on stakeholder ownership, internal resource allocation, feasibility, forecasting, scheduling, all in relation to the achievement target established for the quarter


During your first months on the job, you will review the various health and safety management and prevention processes for our employees working at our clients' sites.

Thereafter, you will continue your mandate by reviewing from A to Z the documentation and the implementation of strategies for all prevention programs in place (lockout, work at height, WHMIS, confined spaces, thermal constraints, hot work, mobile equipment, etc.).


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bilingual spoken and written (French and English)
  • Qualifications in OHS prevention management
  • Experience in an OHS prevention consulting role
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of process improvement and key OHS management activities
  • Strong desire to make an impact and deliver high quality work
  • Ability to develop interpersonal relationships and work with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent ability to work with Microsoft Word, Visio and PowerPoint

WORK LOCATION:
