Responsibilities

  • Lead subset of opportunities under guidance of senior development lead.
  • Communicates within multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Able to identify the members of integrated teams and establish credibility.
  • Facilitate project planning sessions to solicit input and incorporate that input into project scope.
  • Scope alternatives for the business case.
  • Able to define the scope of work required to be completed to explore the option.
  • Able to work with engineering vendors to execute a specific scope of work.
  • Able to differentiate between symptoms and the root cause of a business problem and identify the root value driver for an opportunity.
  • Being able to categorize or structure a path forward around opportunities/risks.
  • Able to handle multi variable problems/opportunities but generally in one business area and fewer variables.
  • Ability to articulate risk around options, how to identify the risks associated with the initiatives and problems.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements

  • 15 years related to project development and business experience.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commercial and/or operations experience in midstream is preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree and/or professional designation is required.
  • Experience with project management would be considered an asset.
  • Accomplished professional with a solid foundation and proven track record of delivering results.
  • Combines business acumen and technical knowledge to drive optimal financial and risk mitigate decisions.
