Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Participate in the process supporting potential business acquisitions or divestitures.- Develop financial models and analyses for evaluation purposes (DCF, comparable companies, previous transactions, etc.).- Contribute to reasonable diligence processes.- Prepare analyses and opportunity studies in support of capital allocation decisions.- Conduct analysis to evaluate the return on investment of various organic growth projects submitted by the business units.- Help prepare investment recommendations and presentations to be submitted to general management and the board of directors.- Attend meetings with senior management to present the results of analyses.- Help the business units keep the company's long-term forecasts and models up to date.- Compare the company's financial and operating results to those of its industry peers.- Support business units with different initiatives designed to improve their operating and financial efficiency.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting in progress.- Wall Street Prep or any other equivalent training, either completed or in progress, is an asset.
SPECIAL SKILLS- Analytical skills and ability to summarize and present information.- Ability to build and maintain financial models.- Mastery of work tools such as Google Suite, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic fast-paced environment.- Accountability for one's work and attention to detail.- Good interpersonal skills with a great team spirit.- Spoken and written French and English communication skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION- This is an internship offer for a period of 3 months, from May 2024 to August 2024.
