Position Scope:
NACG is looking for excavator operators to work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

Site:
Fort Hills

Schedule: 14x7- 12 hours (paid for 11.5 hours) (Days and nights)

Accommodations:
Camp provided

Transportation:
Flights are provided to and from Edmonton or Calgary. Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after shifts)

Overtime:

***Provided after 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week

Hourly Rate:
Up to $51.56 per hour

Suncor Incentive Pay:
$75/ day paid out at the end of every month

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' experience on Excavators 1200 size and up
Attentive and have good listening skills
Familiar with GPS equipment and reading/understanding grade stakes
Familiar with tight working conditions and working with ground personnel
High school diploma, GED, and/or postsecondary education is considered an asset

Summary:

Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
Have experience as requested as mentioned above
Subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
Breath Alcohol Test
Urine Drug Test
FitnesstoWork Assessment
Audiometric Testing
Vision Screening
Criminal Record Check
CSO or BSO Certification
Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver's License
Copy of recent Driver's Abstract
VOID cheque/direct deposit form
Silica Awareness
