Description

The Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) provides personal care and other services to residents in a safe efficient manner, according to care plans as well as the policies and procedures of the retirement homes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication and treatment in accordance to care plans, policies and procedures.
  • Monitor vital signs.
  • Notifies the Health and Wellness Manager/RPN or regarding any concerns.
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' condition (physical, emotional, etc) promptly.
  • Complete documentation on care as per the residence policies and guidelines.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification or equivalent
  • Approved pharmacology training.
  • Must have current First Aid certificate.
  • Experience in LTC or retirement living will be given preference.
  • Internationally educated Nurses are welcome to apply.
  • Must be able to work independently.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Casual


Salary:
$21.00 per hour
