We're hiring for a Manager on our Privacy team at Oxford Reporting to the Director, Legal, Privacy and Information Governance, the Manager, Privacy will be accountable for implementing and operating the global Privacy Program at Oxford and will work in close collaboration with the OMERS Privacy Team and business stakeholders across the enterprise.
You will be responsible for:
Program Implementation
Contribute to the development and implementation of the global Privacy Program maturity initiatives, including operationalizing new and updated privacy regulation requirements as necessary
Support the continuous improvement of Privacy Program tools, templates and processes
Program Delivery
Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to socialize the privacy function within Oxford
Work collaboratively with cross functional partners (Cybersecurity/ Data and Technology/ Data Governance/ Vendor Governance)
Engage with stakeholders in the implementation/review of activities and technologies with a privacy impact
Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments as required
Provide Privacy Advisory services as required
Investigate privacy incidents (i.e. Privacy breaches) and advise on response
Integrate privacy into other governance processes and assist in the development of intake channels that alert privacy when appropriate (vendor governance, technical project delivery process, data governance processes)
Training and Awareness
Develop and deliver team specific training to internal audiences
Support Privacy team in development of awareness campaigns and privacy communications
Support Privacy team in development of specific privacy resources on topics relevant to different lines of business
To succeed in this role, you:
Have a minimum of 3 years' demonstrated experience in privacy space within mid-large organization
Have a post-secondary degree in related field or combination of education and experience with continuing professional development in privacy, IAPP Certification is an asset
Have strong knowledge of privacy laws and best practices
Have demonstrated strong leadership skills and are able to communicate clearly and concisely
Have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Fluency in French an asset
