Role and Responsibilities:


  • Coordination, administration, and execution of all patient benefits related activities.
  • Responsible for evaluating patients for their eligibility to enroll in Tilray Medical's Early Coverage program.
  • Mediate between insured patients, referring clinics, and benefit providers to resolve claim and coverage issues in a timely manner. Responsible for the handling matters related to insurers, clinics, and patients.
  • Collaborate with Tilray Medical's Medical Outreach and Patient Care departments as necessary.
  • Work with discretion regarding sensitive and confidential information.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient benefit databases, files and records, and update as necessary.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for our processes and checklists.
  • Accurately process and submit invoices to benefit providers.
  • Ensure patients understand the details of their benefit plan and facilitate orders accordingly.
  • Receives, processes and verifies the accuracy of orders and patient registration information.
  • Thorough understanding of Health Canada's Cannabis Act, as it pertains to patient benefits administration.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • 2 years in a customer service or insurance administration role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Skillful at conveying information and ideas concisely and correcting issues promptly and professionally
  • Database management experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Relevant College or University education
  • Must be Bilingual (Fluent in both French and English)
