Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate motorized vehicles to move material between client sites
Operating 50-foot trailers to various client sites
Accurately complete numerous and various documents
Knowledge of farming practices and municipal waste legislation (eg. Peel Region, Halton Region, City of Toronto, York Region, Region of Waterloo)
Loading and unloading waste and delivering them to various customer sites. This could range from 50,0000 to 60,000 loads per day
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

Requires a valid AZ licence
3 years of commercial driving experience required
Working knowledge of automatic and manual transmissions
Travel across the GTA and Northern Ontario is required
Prior experience operating heavy machinery, including farm and pumping equipment in an agricultural environment is a definite asset.
Heavy Hauling experience will be an asset
Must have ability to perform labour intensive duties including heavy lifting,
Doesn't mind working in the elements (weather dependent)
Must have solid written and verbal communication skills in order to complete required paperwork and maintain contact with other personnel
