Undergraduate Student Research Assistant for - Regina, Canada - University of Regina
Description
This opportunity is to support Dr. Charity Marsh and Evie Johnny Ruddy on developing the AR art project, "Let's go FAR together," commemorating the UofR's 50th Anniversary.
Responsibilities include:
- Researching story concepts for 6 locations
- Collaborative storyboarding
- Creating 3D assets in Blender and 2D assets for AR
- Recording and editing audio elements
- Full-time undergraduate student;
- Strong time management and flexibility;
- Organizational skills with attention to detail;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team;
- Proficiency in Blender for 3D asset creation;
- Experience in 3D & 2D animation;
- Familiarity with AR platforms like Adobe Aero and Hoverlay;
- Knowledge in audio recording and editing using Zoom recorders;
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.

Salary Range & Hours
Pay Grade: As per CUPE 2419
Salary Range: As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement
Working Hours: 60 hours per term per student (May to September)
Duration: 4-month term
Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-Time
