This opportunity is to support Dr. Charity Marsh and Evie Johnny Ruddy on developing the AR art project, "Let's go FAR together," commemorating the UofR's 50th Anniversary.


Responsibilities include:

  • Researching story concepts for 6 locations
  • Collaborative storyboarding
  • Creating 3D assets in Blender and 2D assets for AR
  • Recording and editing audio elements
Requirements

  • Full-time undergraduate student;
  • Strong time management and flexibility;
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • Proficiency in Blender for 3D asset creation;
  • Experience in 3D & 2D animation;
  • Familiarity with AR platforms like Adobe Aero and Hoverlay;
  • Knowledge in audio recording and editing using Zoom recorders;
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.

Salary Range & Hours

Pay Grade: As per CUPE 2419
Salary Range: As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement
Working Hours: 60 hours per term per student (May to September)
Duration: 4-month term
Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-Time
