JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide leadership to senior production staff through activities such as recruitment, training, performance management and scheduling
  • Directing the daytoday functions of manufacturing (i.e. daily production meeting)
  • Develop manufacturing schedule (long term) inconjunction with all stakeholders
  • Monitoring of batches in progress to ensure the schedule times lines are being achieved
  • Ensure all manufacturing operations are in accordance with cGMP requirements
  • Accountable for all Quality issues within the manufacturing areas: Audits (External/Internal) and Investigations
  • Coordinate and provide training as per Standard Operating Procedure(s)
  • Facilitate and maintain an emphasis on the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) for all manufacturing operations
  • Attend batch meetings and provide input to new processes
  • Revise and manage all production related Standard Operating Procedures
  • Participate in the HAZOP analysis program
  • Involvement in the selection and evaluation of process equipment
  • Provide technical assistance regarding operational related issues for projects
  • Develop and accountability for the manufacturing budget
  • Participate in post project reviews on behalf of production
  • Provide leadership and champion lean initiatives
  • Develop/report Metrics for manufacturing (OEE, EHS, Quality)
