Position Scope
FPS Food Process Solutions is a global leader in industrial food freezing equipment. We provide innovative systems to ensure the highest efficiencies and to meet the most stringent sanitary demands. Key Responsibilities:


  • Read and interpret AutoCAD/Inventor drawings to operate lasercut machines
  • Operate CNC laser or plasma cutting equipment to cut sheet metal
  • Organize materials and make the flat pattern for the machine
  • Monitor the cutting operation and remove cut pieces as required
  • Properly package and secure all orders which may include strapping and wrapping items accordingly
  • Fulfill other production duties as instructed by Team Leader
  • Ensure equipment and worksite is organized and free of clutter, rubble, and garbage
  • Abide by the requirements of WorkSafeBC and the safety manual/procedures
  • Assist machine technicians in different machine processes
  • Other manufacturingrelated duties as required

Qualification, Skills & Abilities:


  • One year of fulltime laser cutting experience
  • Punctual, strong and reliable work ethics
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work both independently as well as in a team setting
  • Possess a positive cando attitude and a great team player
  • Experience is an asset; however, full training will be provided
