Description

IRISNDT Corp. has an immediate, full-time positions available for GWO Certified Technicians within our Wind Services Department.

Job Duties:

Conducting wind turbine maintenance, inspection, and repair activities;
Assisting with the setup, inspection, and maintenance of wind turbine systems and equipment;
Collaborating with crossfunctional teams, including operations, maintenance, and technical services, to complete projects and resolve any issues;
Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to wind turbine maintenance;
Staying up to date with the latest wind turbine maintenance techniques and technology.

Required Skills and Experience:

GWO certification (Basic Safety Training or BSTR);
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including at heights;
Strong written and oral communication skills;
Valid driver's license;
Some travel (including overnight stays out of town) may be required.

Safety Requirements:

Steeltoe boots are required; IRISNDT will provide additional PPE.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Health benefits that meet or exceed industry standards will be provided after a 3-month probationary period. Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory. All potential employees will be required to complete a pre-employment fitness examination and an alcohol and drug screening.
