Job Statement

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot defective products and perform the required repairs, while meeting manufacturers' quality requirements
Quickly diagnose and repair PCB's at the component level when required
Perform verifications and tests on products to ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain a safe and productive workspace by keeping it clean and well organized
Provide technical support to our external service centers
Perform various tasks within the service department such as:
Act as support and backup to the Demo and Sample Coordinator in managing the incoming and out-going sample and demo inventory
Act as support and backup to the receiving team for receiving repairs and returns
Act as support and backup to the technician who prepares and modifies the products so that they can be approved according to the CSA standards
Act as support and backup to the storekeeper to receive parts inventory and perform daily inventory counts

Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year of experience repairing professional lighting, pro audio products, networked audio products and musical instruments
Electronics Diploma (DEP or DEC)
Ability to replace surface mount components on PCB's
Knowledge and experience in guitar repairs or in lutherie would be a definit asset
Excellent analysis, and electronics circuit troubleshooting skills
Resourcefulness, initiative, autonomy, adaptability
Strong learning skills
Highly detail oriented
Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar software would be an asset
