We are looking for a professional communicator with the experience to manage media monitoring and reporting, as well as employee engagement and communications support activities for the Corporate & Public Affairs (CAPA) division of TD
Job responsibilities include:
- Media Monitoring
- Conduct media monitoring and compile media coverage summaries for an executive audience on a daily basis
- Complete ongoing media monitoring and coverage tracking throughout the day and flag coverage as appropriate
- Develop comprehensive media coverage reports for specific topics, issues and events
- Oversee and manage the distribution list for the daily media report
- Provide comprehensive research, reporting, metrics and analysis related to mainstream media and social media coverage
- Oversee issues and social media trackers and reporting for the entire team
- Support the CAPA team with various employee engagement activities including planning town halls and events, maintaining team shared resources, and building and updating the team intranet page
- Manage relationships with thirdparty vendors related to media licensing and reporting
- Review and manage invoices and assist with contract renewals for thirdparty vendors
- Write and produce compelling communication materials related to a variety of projects, initiatives and announcements
- Coordinate external distribution of news releases and media advisories
- Manage updates to TD external sites, working with colleagues to approve content and article staging
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a corporate or consulting PR/communications environment, with demonstrated experience in assisting with research and communication that drives business results
- A keen news sense, coupled with critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail
- Superior process management and organizational skills
- Sound judgment and ability to problem solve and deliver highquality work under pressure
- Strong writing skills and comfort creating content for multiple channels
- Proven ability to selfstart and multitask
- University or community college education in communication, public relations, journalism or related field
- Work comfortably within a teambased, deadlinedriven and adaptable environment while managing several tasks simultaneously
- Collaborate with key stakeholders internally and externally to help CAPA execute its media plan and strategic objectives to protect and enhance TD's brand and reputation
