Job Description:


Reporting to the Manager, Talent Solutions & Services, the Advisor, HR Operations (Shared Services) will be accountable to assist with readiness planning for our launch of our newly defined shared services model, including supporting the creation of desktop procedures, training materials, test scripts and testing execution.

Post launch, they will be responsible for supporting colleagues through our newly implemented ServiceNow case management system, complete transactional procedures, and will provide solutions to HR policy/program related queries.

This is a contract position.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with drafting desktop procedures, consultation guides, checklists, and standard operating procedures in support of our newly formed shared services model
  • Partner with the Manager, Talent Solutions & Services and HR Technology to prepare training materials and packages to support our new case management solution
  • Execute test scripts for business and technology readiness
  • Serve as a first point of contact for current and former employees' questions on HR policies and/or processes at our golive
  • Act in an advisory role by providing enduser support for those interacting with Talent systems, resolving issues and promoting/guiding employees in the usage of selfservice functionalities where possible
  • Ensure positive and consistent experiences by striving for excellence in understanding colleague requests, streamlining service delivery and identifying next steps
  • Ensure proper usage of knowledge management and case management systems to effectively respond to, document, and monitor inquiries
  • Seek opportunities to improve departmental processes, customer service, and overall employee experience by identifying service or process deficiencies, and recommending solutions to the Manager, Talent Solutions & Services
  • Process position, job and employee data changes in Talent systems throughout the employee lifecycle events to ensure alignment with HRIS, Payroll and Finance
  • Triage cases to appropriate teams based on topic or complexity related to case submission
  • Provide routine reporting where appropriate to people leaders or internal functions
  • Support additional adhoc duties and projects as they arise

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in an HR supoprt or advisory role
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • A thorough understanding of CPP Investments' HR programs and policies
  • Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information
  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting, metrics and data validation
  • Proficiency with Workday
  • Ability to clearly define and articulate requirements, priorities, impacts, and solutions
  • Ability to foster collaborative working relationships at all levels internally and with external partner
  • Able to identify opportunities, take initiative and think through future implications
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, under pressure and with timesensitive deadlines
