We are presently accepting resumes for a number of
Permanent Part-Time Support Worker to work on in our group homes in
Orillia.
Compensation Package:
These positions will be assigned to our day line working up to 60 hours biweekly, primarily between the hours of 8am-8pm
- Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $26.16/hour;
- 11 paid Statutory Holidays;
- Confidential Employee Assistance program for you and for your immediate family;
Following the successful completion of probation:
- Employer paid health and life insurance; employee/employer paid dental;
- Employer paid sick and personal leave time;
- Vacation hours;
- Participation in RRSP with employer match up to 4%
Minimum Qualifications:
- D.S.W. diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (Child & Youth Worker, E.C.E., S.S.W., Nursing, Psychology, P.S.W., etc.) as determined by the employer is required;
- When submitting your resume and cover letter, please also upload a copy of your diplomas / degrees. In your resume, please ensure that you specify the length of your programs;
- Ability to work weekends and holidays;
- Ability to attend team meetings and training as required during daytime hours;
- A valid
class "G" driver's license and own reliable transportation is an asset;
Role/Duties:
Our Direct Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting.
