Description

Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner and appropriately dressed in business attire.

Assists guests and owners in a friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate followup, as necessary.
Be aware of all essential aspects of hotel operations.
Collects payments from customers, ensures daily settlements are balanced.
Monitors lobby and checkin activity including cleaning and tidying up lobby area
Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Receiving calls, conducting room reservations, and verifying existing bookings
Works with all departments closely to ensure guest safety, fulfills requests and coordinates with departments and managers special requests and report any activity.
Staff will be trained for all shifts including audit shifts and expected to help out when needed.

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette and listening abilities.
Flexibility to work varying and extended shifts.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
Attention to detail to ensure proper billing/payments/charges/reservations/relay of information etc.
A willingness to learn and help where needed is a major asset.
Dealing with guest complaints effectively in solving guests needs.
Able to work in a fast paced environment, some heavy lifting with standing and bending at times.
Experience as a hotel front desk agent is preferred.
Experience in SKYTOUCH or Choice advantage preferred

Salary:
$15.00 per hour starting / Based on experience.

8 hour shift
Holidays
Weekdays, Weekends
7am to 3pm
3pm to 11pm
