We are looking for an Event Manager to work at the

Rough Rider home games

What does a Security Guard do?:

  • Develop and foster co-operation within the security team to ensure shared communication for safety of all concerned
  • Oversee event security staff and act as POC for client contact. Ensure all stall have arrived and have signed in
  • Responsible for training security guards as well as submitting reports for each game
  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property. Prevent access to restricted areas
  • Access control to gates. Ensure that all guests have been screened, using hand held metal detectors will be critical
  • Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner
  • Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications to become a Security Guard:

  • A valid SK security guard license (we can help with this if you don't have it)
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience is required
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Available to work flexible hours
  • Have a clear criminal background
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • 18 years of age or older
