SSENSE is hiring for an HR Coordinator to support our HR and Operations teams during our upcoming peak sale season.
This is an exciting time of year to join the SSENSE family as we will be on-boarding hundreds of seasonal employees.
Responsiblities
- Create new seasonal employee profile in the security and payroll systems
- Coordinate and act as the HR point of contact during onboarding session
- Maintain seasonal employee digital records as well as personnelrelated data in our HR systems
- Approve employee hours in the payroll system and proactively research discrepancies in employee's pay and hours
- Produce employment confirmation letters and other HR support letters as needed
- Generate standard HR reports as requested and assist in building analytics
- Ensure proper tracking of all seasonal training hours
- Respond and resolve 'Tier 1' employee inquiries including but not limited to responding to general HR administrative matters such as inquiries about pay, vacation, employment verifications, benefits and perks, corporate policies, etc.
- Audit contract end dates for employees and followup with management to confirm next steps as applicable
- Coordinate and draft contract extension letters and end of contract letters for seasonal employees
- Deactivate the accesses of employees leaving the organisation
- Assist with immigrationrelated tasks, including tracking work visa expiry
- Identify and implement areas for continuous improvement in HR processes, policies, and tools
- Work on ad hoc related tasks and assignments as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, or a relevant field, completed or nearcompletion
- A minimum of 1 year experience working in a fastpaced corporate and/or customerfacing environment
- Previous experience in Recruitment or HR, an asset
- Good written and verbal communications skills in both English and French
- Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and/or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets)
- Experience with a Human Resource Management System or payroll system (ADP, Ceridian, Workday, etc.), an asset
- Flexible to work days, evenings, or weekends, as required
