Maintenance Administrator


Reporting to the Mobile and Fixed Equipment Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Administrator is mainly responsible for supporting the Maintenance team through the whole Maintenance Cycle from order request to order completion, focusing on labour, services and materials requests (internal and external) and receipt.

The position also supports the operations team and contributes to the overall efficiency and productivity of our fleet and plant equipment.


MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible to Maintain a safe working environment, promoting a strong safety culture, following and communicating all safety guidelines when required, and ensuring safety compliance under legislation and Corporate requirements
  • Create purchase requisitions for Maintenance (plant and fleet) and Operations teams (PM and nonPM related)
  • Manage Workflow items: Allocate purchased items to work orders and/or Purchase orders (process goods receipts, service entries) or redirect as required
  • Process ATFPOs (afterthefactPurchase-Orders) as required
  • Process ARIBA orders for Plant and Fleet Maintenance, and Operations, including approvals
  • Create/process/maintain work orders preventive or corrective
- if/when required, ensuring documentation is attached and counter readings updated if/when necessary

  • Assist with Truck Licensing process, Trucks and Plants RMCAO certification, cheque requests, shop certification process, as required
  • Assist with Transponders requests and processing for heavy and light vehicles, as required
  • Process and assist with monthend fuel distribution for Trucks and Loaders
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Customer Service focus
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Basic level of technical understanding preferred (mobile and fixed equipment)
Work Experience: 3-5 years' experience in fleet/equipment administration and/or management preferred

  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems would be an asset.
  • Computer Skills: Computer literate for all MS Office software. SAP knowledge would be an asset.
