Are you a team player who likes to get things done? Come and join our great team at Fransyl as a forklift operator/order picker Your role will be to carry out shipping-related tasks.

Using the forklift, you'll prepare various orders and make sure the trucks are ready to go. Your work will take place during the day, indoors and outdoors.

This is what your day will be like:

  • Using a scanner, select the products that make up each order from their respective locations;
  • Load, unload and secure items on trailers and dryboxes;
  • Pack bundles using a blowtorch;
  • Handle rolls and bundles of shingles (approx. 80lbs);
  • Examine and check items, note missing items and retain damaged items;
  • Verify the quantity and nature of products shipped;
  • Assemble orders on pallets;
  • All other related tasks.

Here's the training you need to join our team:

  • Valid forklift driver's license; (an asset)
  • High school diploma;
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position;
