WSP has a new and exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Heritage team within the Ecology and Environmental Impact Assessment Team on a full-time basis based in Vancouver or Vancouver Island.

A day in the life:
As part of the Ecology and Environmental Impact Assessment team, your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating with the project team to assist with the monitoring and control of budgets and schedules;
- Providing timely updates on project controls, progress and forecasting trends to the Project Manager;
- Collecting, inputting, managing and presenting project cost tracking data;
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers and providing assistance with preparation of subcontractor work orders and invoicing payments;
- Creating and updating project budgets and schedules and flagging issues to project manager;
- Identifying the need for change orders;
- Reviewing team resourcing requirements and preparing basic work orders when international staffing requirements are necessary;
- Interacting with clients as required by Project Managers;
- Ensuring project files are kept up to date using specified document control system;
- Assisting with proposal writing and coordinating contributors to proposals as needed.
What you'll bring to WSP
:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field;
- PMP certification would be a plus;
- Basic knowledge of project management principles and PMI's Body of Knowledge;
