The Business Analyst

As a member of our Manufacturing Team reporting to the Executive Vice President of Manufacturing_, _the _Business Analyst_ is responsible for gathering both financial and non-financial data, analyzing, and transforming it into meaningful information to be reported to Management.

A day in the life of a Business Analyst might include

Codeveloping and managing the reporting scorecard, compiling key performance indicators for different departments in Manufacturing.
Performing analysis of booked and projected revenues, as well as analysis of business scenarios and potential impact of those scenarios on the business.
Reviewing budgets and performance and providing recommendations to our Manufacturing team.
Performing quarterly product rationalization and making recommendations on products and pricing.
Tracking production output and making recommendations on increasing production efficiencies.
Monitoring and improving capacity planning model and finished goods/raw materials skid flow tools.
Managing all analysis projects/tools to ensure accuracy and depth in reporting.
Adhoc reporting as needed by business units or Executives.
Other projects and responsibilities, as assigned.

Does this sound like you?

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, accounting, finance, operations, or related field experience.
4 years of experience in a similar role, with competencies in preparing profit and loss statements, data modelling, forecasting, trending, analyzing, preparing business cases, process engineering, cost reduction, and analysis.
Expert-Level Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Intermediate user of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Microsoft Power BI.
Working knowledge and familiarity with SQL.
Education in project management, PMP designation would be an asset.
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, organize, and prioritize work in a dynamic work environment with competing demands.
Ability to communicate and present effectively in both verbal and written form.
Business Case Analysis Experience
Numeracy, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
