For the past 85 years, Kawartha Dairy has been proud to be a 100% Canadian-owned company, still operated by the same family that founded it in 1937.

Although the company has grown tremendously from its early days, it still remains headquartered in the lakeside community of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, near Peterborough, an hour north of the GTA.

We still use fresh milk and cream, delivered daily from local farms to make our premium, rich and creamy ice cream and dairy products.

The paid Student Development Program is a highly selective, high potential program for rising post-secondary students. An opportunity focused on helping students gain valuable work experience and insight into the Dairy industry in Bobcaygeon.

Students will directly contribute to Kawartha Dairy's success while receiving an unmatched, behind-the-scenes learning experience.

Work within the Supply Chain department and gain exposure to the business of Dairy Manufacturing through challenging, hands-on projects and networking opportunities.

In addition, students are given opportunities of mentorship from our Leadership Team Members.

What you Need
:

Be enrolled in (or entering) 2nd4th year post secondary OR post graduate program
Supply Chain or Business students keen on supply chain may find this opportunity particularly appealing
Legally permitted to work in Canada
Able to work directly in beautiful Bobcaygeon, Ontario
Available for start of program April 29, 2024 until end of program August 31, 2024

Assist in managing inventory flow
Work on purchasing and procurement
Work within Supply management
Enhance your grasp of enterprise resource systems
