About this opportunity:


Are you a highly motivated and experienced Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a Vocational Rehabilitation Services team? Do you have what it takes to build and inspire a team aligned with the corporate values and vision as well as clinical goals and service standards? If so, CBI Health has an excellent opportunity for you to take on a leadership role on our National Vocational Services team.

As Manager of Clinical Services, you will create a work environment that exemplifies CBI Health's values by effectively coaching, mentoring and engaging staff as well as fostering business growth through relationships with employers and funders.

Ensuring exemplary customer service and consistently executing efficient and effective employer services programs, you will promote the successful attainment of clinical excellence and associated business outcomes.

  • Lead and inspire others, developing and retaining talent, mentoring, and leading by example
  • Promote and facilitate communication, leading and developing a team that delivers on the expectations of disability insurers
  • Set segment goals that align with the key strategic priorities
  • Provide a vocational rehabilitation perspective into business decisions, service delivery model and developmental opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure that service delivered aligns with key performance indicators (KPIs) and that all practices are conducted with integrity and in alignment to Best Practice and CBI policies, including Privacy policies
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on program performance for various accounts.
  • Conduct regular meetings with client accounts to review performance, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and enhance the quality of service delivery.
  • Ensure staffing requirements meet demand for successful vocational rehabilitation outcomes
  • Align local objectives to organizational key strategic priorities and functional goals, identifying clinical metrics to meet and exceed the CBI vision and values
  • Organize resources to solve problems and make tough decisions, while functioning independently as well as part of a team
  • Coach, mentor, develop and performance manage staff through consistent use of PPD process

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; preference for a degree in business, vocational rehabilitation, psychology or related field.
  • 5 years experience in disability insurance
  • A valid driver's licence, reliable access to a vehicle and a willingness to travel as needed
  • Management experience is an asset
  • Commitment to fostering an environment of employee development and coaching
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to function independently and multitask
  • Enthusiasm for furthering your skills through additional training
  • The ability to analyze information from information systems/databases, service providers, client reports, staff feedback and industry trends and practices to formulate recommendations and provide input to planning processes
  • A strong sense of how to balance multiple priorities as circumstances and information change
  • A creative and innovative approach to developing solutions
  • The ability to guide decisionmaking in complex clinical situations
