and Canada.Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Planner.
Reporting to the Mobile Equipment Supervisor, the Fleet Maintenance Planner position is responsible for overseeing fleet administrative compliance with the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act and National Safety Code guidelines.
Additionally, this position is responsible for monitoring/ordering/shipping/receiving parts, managing inventory, issuing parts and repair PO's, reconciling those PO's vs invoices, tracking shop R&M expenditures, maintaining the TMT database, completing work orders and cost tracking.
This position is based in Vancouver.What You'll Get To Do:
- Maintain fleet and driver records in compliance with the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act and National Safety Code.
- Process Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR)
- Maintain TMT digital vehicle database
- Issuing Purchase orders and ordering parts
- Working with vendors to resolve issues with parts and warranty claims
- Maintain parts room inventory and stocking of parts (involves infrequent medium physical duty)
- Issue PO's for all parts and consumables
- Track spending and reconcile invoices with PO's
- Track and post maintenance records to the TMT (Trimble Fleet Maintenance) system
- Provide administrative support for two facilities
- Follow all safe work procedures and policies to ensure an incidentfree work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Who we are looking for:
- Experience with Trimble Fleet Maintenance software (TMT) or experience with alternate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred
- Experience with Heavy Duty Equipmentparts knowledge preferred
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with National Safety Code administrative requirements preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and Word, and strong computer proficiency in general
- Accounting and budget management skills are strongly preferred
- Ability to work in flexible environments, from shop parts room to office setting
- Vendor management experience an asset
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- Comfortable with afterhours calls as needed
Work Environment:
- Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
