Grove Park Home is a Not-For-Profit organization that is comprised of 143 Long Term Care Beds, a small retirement home and an Adult Day Care Program.

Serving the citizens of Barrie for over 50 years, Grove Park continues to enjoy a great reputation within our community.

Designated as a Best Practices Spotlight Organization (BPSO), Grove Park is proud of the quality care that we provide and the staff who provide it.

Qualifications:

Secondary School Graduation Diploma
Graduation from an accredited Personal Support Worker Program
Three years' related experience working in a longterm care facility (preferred)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills
Excellent interpersonal skills including counseling, conflict management, and problem solving

Additional Certificates/Diplomas in activation techniques, gerontology, First Aid and/or CPR will be considered an asset.
