Project:
Capstone Wind Project
Location:
Jenner, Alberta
Schedule: 21 days on, 7 days off, 10 hour per day
Wage:
$17-$38 per hour as per collective agreement
Benefits and RRSP Provided as per collective agreement
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including at heights
- Have good working knowledge of construction practices and operation of tools to work safely and efficiently following directions from Supervisor
- Install wind turbine components
- Follow turbine installation procedures
- Preparation of the components on the ground
- Proceed to a visual inspection for damage and ensure safe lifting operations prior to lifting
- Rig the components with turbine specific rigging devices
- Clear communication with crane operators
- Use Taglines to maintain control of the loads
- Bolt and torque the components sections using hydraulics or pneumatics as per the installation instructions.
- Operate mobile equipment such as skid steer, manlifts and telehandlers
- Clean and maintain site.
Experience Requirements:
- CSTS09 or CSTS 20
- WHMIS 201
- Fall Protection
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions, able to interpret drawings, bill of materials and various other specification
