Primary Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Dock Hand - Off-Loader are to unload containers using stand up electric counterbalance; restock pallets, general cleaning, and other duties as assigned.

Full-Time

Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm

Essential Functions:

Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food)
Unload freight using counterbalance and check product for quality and damage.
Review BOL and conduct temperature check.
Confirm skids off loaded matches BOL and provide sign off.
Break down pallets that do not immediately fit in allotted reserve storage spots.
Pull product returned from stores off trailers.
Periodic Picker duties are required.
Cleaning Duties are required.
Repack product in build area as required.
Other duties and special projects as requested.
Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.
Correctly inspect and maintain power equipment (if required)
Must maintain good attendance.
Maintain safe work practices.
Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must be licensed on counterbalance.
Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
A minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse atmosphere, including receiving, pulling orders, packing, and shipping preferred.
