Your opportunity:
Under general direction of the Assistant Dean and Registrar, the Academic Services Coordinator will provide program and student services support for the academic programs in the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing.
Responsibilities will include verifying the accuracy of course enrollment/course description information, coordinating meeting schedules and agendas, organizing, summarizing, and circulating program and/or course evaluations, liaising with students and faculty to coordinate program activities, maintaining information on digital platforms, troubleshooting, and resolving routine issues and providing detailed information on processes, policies, and procedures.
The Academic Services Coordinator will provide proactive, exceptional customer services to a diverse student and faculty population as a key member of the registrarial and student services team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing detailed information to students on program and/or course requirements
- Maintaining course information on student information systems
- Preparing and disseminating curriculum cycle timetables
- Tracking and monitoring curriculum issues raised by contacts
- Coordinating the schedule for academic calendars
- Coordinating program schedules with stakeholders
- Organizing, summarizing and circulating program and/or course evaluations
Essential Qualifications:
- Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum two (2) years recent experience providing student services and/or registrarial support, preferably in a University or post secondary environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with and collaborating with faculty.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating schedules for academic calendars.
- Experience preparing and disseminating curriculum cycle timetables and monitoring curriculum issues.
- Experience coordinating and supporting committees.
- Experience updating and maintaining records.
- Experience maintaining information on social media platforms.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, including abilityto multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to take initiative and work proactively.
- Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong organization, time management, and problem solvingskills.
- Strong computer skills including in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom).

Lived Experience Statement
