Responsibilities:
The DVG Developer/Curriculum Specialist will be:
- Proficienct in designing and developing interactive digital games in STEM, including storyboarding and engineering design principles.
- Testing digital video games.
- Designing curriculum and assessments to accompany digital games.
- Qualifications
Education: - Required: Post-Secondary Degree in STEM
Experience:
- Required: Experience in computer programming and games development, and curriculum and assessment
Skills, Abilities & Expertise:
- Familiarity with instructional design methods to deliver instructional programs and courses
- Familiarity with adult learning principles
- Familiarity with learning evaluation methods
- Indepth and broad knowledge within the field
- Presentation skills to deliver information in a clear and engaging manner, using appropriate communication channels
- Communication skills to describe technical concepts effectively to both novice and sophisticated users
- Ability to summarize information and disseminate to others effectively in a timely manner
- Ability to perceive and understand the emotions of others, and interact with them appropriately based on those emotions
- Ability to provide guidance, support and feedback in a way that is positively received
- Organizational and multitasking skills to prioritize and consistently produce highquality work
- Demonstrated ability to coach and support adult learners, and to enable individuals to learn
