We are looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to join our busy team_

-
Responsibilities:_

Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System are maintained and adhered to
Conduct compliance audits on production, warehousing and formulation activities
Communicate nonconformances, trends, and compliance information to required Managers and Supervisors, providing recommendations on actions to be taken
Oversee the Document Control System (includes maintaining, distributing, and updating records, files, and documents) for Winnipeg facilities.
Assist in scheduled documentation reviews including forms and work instructions
Participate in internally driven initiatives as assigned; including but not limited to compliance assessments, setting up administrative functions (training, maintenance, KPI's, etc.)
Aid in implementation and creation of new quality procedures
Person of contact for external quality related inquiries
Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge/Qualifications:_

Excellent attention to detail, data collection and analysis skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong attention to detail and the ability to use critical thinking
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or similar Quality Management System
Proficient with computer systems and software
Internal Auditing experience required
Valid Class 5 driver's license required
Manufacturing experience an asset
Knowledge of AWSA or CropLife Manufacturing protocols is an asset
Post secondary diploma or degree in quality management or related field

years' experience in a quality assurance or auditing role required

Working Conditions:_

Time spent between office setting and production floor
Travel will be required between multiple sites
Overtime as necessary
Extended periods of walking and sitting
