We are looking for a Logistics Manager to lead the logistics department. This is a full-time and permanent position.

We are looking for someone who has experience and background in managing a shipping department, especially working in a diverse work environment.

Your Purpose**:


As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient coordination and execution of the daily shipping of goods, as well as ensuring shipping standards of all Unifiller products are met.


What you'll
be doing:


  • Ensure profitability of the logistics department
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments to maximize efficiency
  • Develop efficient shipping methods to reduce cost and waste
  • Implement employee development to enhance skills
  • Communicate with sales coordinators and plan for ontime shipments
  • Coordinate with material handlers to process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently
  • Participate in the daily backlog meeting
  • Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Maintain necessary records electronically

What your qualifications are:


  • You have 5+ years of experience working leading a Logistics team within the manufacturing work environment
  • You are teamoriented and manage people's experience
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You can interact with a variety of individuals from different backgrounds and cultures
  • You have excellent organizational, and time management skills and can multitask
  • You can work independently with minimum supervision
  • You can work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periods
  • You have strong attention to detail and prioritizing skills
  • You are proficient with computers and have used Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)
  • You have experience using a forklift
