RAPS is seeking a Support Worker to Assist an Individual with Down Syndrome (E13)

LOCATION:
South Edmonton (Mill Woods)

Hours/Days:
Flexible: to be discussed with employer

(Approx. 6-10 hours/week)

Rate of Pay:
$20.24/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties include but are not limited to accompanying individual on various community outings (swimming, biking), encourage new social interactions, facilitate a healthy life style, and companionship.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Recent criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector, and possess a valid driver's license/vehicle. Must be a non-smoker.

This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality care and support to individuals with disabilities. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.

The Support Worker will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of those they support by promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion.
