Who we are
Global Gourmet Foods is a food manufacturing plant specializing in kettle cooked foods.

We produce and distribute product to vendors both locally and internationally; it's very likely you've already eaten something we produce.

We are currently a mid-sized company undergoing massive growth and are seeking self-starting individuals who are hardworking and able to learn in a face paced environment.

Global Gourmet Foods is a part of the Premium Brands family.

What you'll do

Perform routine microbiological test, prepare samples to the accredited laboratories
Perform R&D product quality test, project based
Responsible for administrative data entries, simple data trending for audit preparation

Required Qualifications

Must be detail oriented, good visual inspection ability and reliable
Experience in Quality Control activities in a food processing environment is preferred not a must
Knowledge of food safety, food microbiology, Quality Assurance programs in Ready to Eat foods, previous experience in federal meat facility is an asset
Fluent in written and oral English. Knowledge of other languages such as Mandarin Chinese, would be an asset
Ability to work independently and cooperatively with all employees and contractors and to provide technical help when needed
