Participation Lodge Grey-Bruce is a not-for-profit organization that strives to empower and enrich the lives of the individuals we support.

We have many faucets with which we connect with the community, but our main physical site in Holland Centre is currently seeking Personal Support Workers to join our wonderful team

Qualifications:

Ability to work as a team
Possess compassion and patience
PSW/DSW certification preferred or relevant experience working with individuals who require support
Current CPR & First Aid certificate or willing to obtain before start date
A valid
G drivers license with a clean driver's abstract
Have a clear criminal background, with Vunerable Sector Screen
Proof of vaccination against COVID19 required, or medical exemption

What does this role look like: The Lodge strives to enrich our residences' lives through supporting individual choices, as well as helping them to reach their goals. We work in their home and must treat it as such. We are looking for an individual with experience, confidence, and resilience to provide guidance and foster independence. This role will involve assisting individuals with all tasks, activities, and outings of day-to-day life. Shifts are mostly 12-hour shifts, and applicants must be able to work both day and night shifts.
